I had GAD too and was on meds for a while, but didn't like the way the day to day meds made me feel after a while. Plus I am on the really really low end of the GAD spectrum so my doctor said if I felt comfortable going off of them then it was fine. I have the tranquilizer like pills too but they're really helpful for me because most of my GAD symptoms happen at night. I lay awake and can't sleep but I'm really not worry about anything specific. I actually have sleep anxiety, like sometimes I'm scared to go to sleep. It's really weird. So that's when the tranqs come in handy ;-) Good luck with everything! P.S., another thing that helped me with anxiety is setting small (very small) fitness/health goals. Every time I accomplished them I felt so good and could feel my anxiety going away. Plus it is well known exercise helps with anxiety but those with anxiety have a hard time getting started with exercise. That's why the really small goals were helpful. Sometimes mine were as small as just wearing my fitness clothes all day.Jacquelyn @justjacqhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15969922596350549484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6602390109022107449.post-6431193834424736632014-01-06T11:28:45.727-05:002014-01-06T11:28:45.727-05:00I am so sorry that you are struggling.
